Children Ministry

Children under the age of 16yrs account for the largest percentage of the population yet the most neglected in spiritual matters. Nuru Kids Club targets children under the age of 6 - 13 yrs. The primary objective is to teach kids the word of God using puppetry and drama. Our doctrine basis derived from Mathew 19:13-15 "Let the little children come to me..." and Proverbs 22:6 "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not part from it."

We have several units in the children ministry:

• Nuru Kids Club - began in May 2005 has a membership of 300 children from 10 congregations in Nairobi. Members meets monthly for teachings on the word of God and other topics like HIV/AIDS, drugs, alchohol, health & hygiene, music, media & peer pressure and the environment.
• Children Outreach - We maintain weekly outreach and visitation to various children homes and schools like Homeless International.

Future plans include holding Vocational Bible Study's, increasing kids club membership and atarting TV production for kids.
